About the job
At Advanced Cleaning and Restoration, we are currently searching for a skilled Accounts Receivables/payable Specialist to join our Accounts team to help process, track, and record payments in an accurate, efficient, and timely manner. The Accounts Receivables/payable Specialist will have both a day-to-day and ongoing impact on financial transactions, keeping us on track, on time, and on good terms with our valued customers.
Responsibilities
Gather and verify invoices for appropriate documentation prior to sending to customers
Maintain accounts receivable records to ensure aging is up to date, credits and collections are applied, uncollectible amounts are accounted for, and miscellaneous differences are cleared
Perform daily duties in the QuickBooks and accounting system as well as log and record invoices
Monitor accounts and have good communication with customers
Provide support to Business Manager and accounts team as needed
Skills and Qualifications
Strong mathematical skills
Understanding of basic principles of finance, accounting, and bookkeeping
Superb time management and detail orientation
Ability to keep company and customer confidences
Associates degree or equivalent preferred
Experience in accounts receivable/payable preferred
Ability to pass a background/credit check
Job Type: Full-time/part-time
Salary: $16.00 - $25.00 per hour
