JOB SUMMARY The Float Pool CNA will float to units within acute care and behavioral care, including the emergency department and day surgery as needed. In this role, the CNA is an essential member of the patient care team, responsible for the delivery of direct and indirect patient care. The CNA partners with patients and other care providers to create a safe and comfortable therapeutic environment by providing direct and indirect care. JOB REQUIREMENTSEducation:
High School diploma or equivalent required
Valid on the State of Maine CNA registry
Experience:
1 year previous CNA work preferred
Other Skills Required:
Excellent guest relations and interpersonal skills
Ability to multi-task and work well in high-stress situations
Flexibility required to provide coverage 24 hours/day, 7 days/week. Will be required to float to multiple units
