The starting rate for this position is $27.50. The rate of pay displayed reflects the beginning of the pay scale. At the time of an offer, the determination of your offer will reflect your skills and experience as it relates to the position. Job Summary:The CNC ensures and delivers high-quality, patient-centered care and coordination of all functions in the unit/department during the designated shift. In collaboration with the other members of the leadership team, the CNC directs, monitors, and evaluates nursing care per established policies/procedures, serves as a resource person to staff, and models a commitment to the organization's vision/mission/values to support unparalleled patient experience and clinical outcomes that contribute to the overall departmental performance. Job Requirements: (education and experience/preferred and required)
A bachelor’s degree is required or attained within four years. Associate’s degree required at time of hire (at a minimum).
Current Maine RN license required.
National Certification in specialty preferred.
Basic Life Support (BLS) is required.
Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification is required within six months of hire -where applicable to the clinical area.
PALS as required within six months of hire – where applicable to the clinical area
