GEM Chain Bar is seeking 2 skilled CNC Operators to join our team. The ideal candidate(s) will have experience working in a manufacturing facility and operating CNC machines. Positions will work either Monday-Thursday 6:30 am to 5:00 pm or Tuesday-Friday 6:30 am to 5:00 pm. Experience is preferred, but we are willing to train the right detail oriented person. Pay depends on experience, ranging between $16-24 per hour, including benefits of health insurance, vacation pay, holiday pay and retirement.

Duties
- Operate and maintain CNC machines such as milling machines
- Use precision measuring instruments to ensure parts meet specifications
- Preparing and operating CNC machines to perform milling and turning operations
- Prepare and load raw materials and parts onto the machine
- Work with logic controllers to program machines for production
- Perform basic math calculations to verify dimensions and quantities
- Set machines to complete full cycles to fabricate large numbers of parts
- Supervise the machines while they execute the tasks and make any necessary adjustments to produce a better result
- Inspect and measure finished products and compare them with requirements to determine if the process has been completed properly
- Check and maintain machinery daily to ensure functionality
- Log production parts and processes into quality and inventory control systems
