Job description:
We are looking for a reliable Service Manager/Dispatcher to act as a communication point for emergency and non-emergency calls. You will receive requests, transmit messages, and track vehicles. The ideal candidate must be an excellent communicator and able to remain calm and composed in all situations. While dispatching technicians you will also be responsible for ordering parts, tracking parts, coordinating with customers and other departments. You must be able to multitask as well as take the appropriate action with little supervision. The goal is to enable different parties to communicate well by ensuring the accurate and timely transmission of information.
Qualifications
3-5+ years of experience in dispatching, preferred
Experience in HVAC or service industry preferred
Supervisory experience, desirable
Strong organizational and interpersonal skills
Ability to work well within a team environment
Geographical knowledge of service area or map reading skills
History of maintaining professional but friendly and outgoing demeanor
Strong problem-solving skills
Microsoft Office Suite skills required
