Description We are inviting applications for the role of a Staff Accountant in our manufacturing team based in Post Falls, Idaho. This role involves meticulous processing of customer credit applications, maintaining precise customer credit records, and resolving customer inquiries with a focus on customer accounts monitoring and appropriate action taking. This opportunity offers a short term contract employment.Responsibilities: Handle employee advance reconciliation tasks Perform various month-end tasks, ensuring the accuracy of accounts Oversee accounts payable accruals and ensure they are updated regularly Conduct sales tax reconciliations to comply with tax regulations Assist in preparing journal entries to keep accurate financial records Aid with CPA audits, ensuring accuracy and compliance Assist with field exams, providing necessary information and support Manage the application of cash to ensure accurate financial records Carry out weekly and monthly bank borrowing base tasks Utilize skills in Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), Bank Reconciliations, General Ledger, Journal Entries, Month End Close, and Audit - Operational. Requirements Previous experience in a manufacturing environment is preferred. Proficiency in Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) is necessary. Must have experience in performing Bank Reconciliations. Familiarity with the General Ledger and Journal Entries is essential. Required to have experience in Month End Close procedures. Knowledge and experience in Operational Auditing is beneficial. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills are necessary. Strong communication and interpersonal skills are required. Must be detail-oriented and highly organized. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (particularly Excel) is necessary. Experience with accounting software is preferred. Ability to work independently and as part of a team is required.
