One Punch Pizza in Albion, Idaho is looking to replace our current cook who is moving to Utah.
Duties include but are not limited to-
Preparing, cutting, and chopping food needed for the day
Making a batch of pizza dough for the following day
Cooking pizza, pasta, burgers, and appetizers
Working as a server/buser as needed
Cleaning kitchen, doing dishes, and cleaning restaurant
Receive restaurant supply order on Thursday, check for accuracy to make sure all supplies were received, and then put up supplies in storage locations.
Ideal candidate is 19 or older so they can serve alcohol, but not required.
Schedule-
We are open Thursday - Sunday 11am - 9pm. We really need somebody who can work every Thursday and Friday and then also Saturdays and Sundays. We do have a second cook who is available part time for Saturdays and Sundays depending on his high school sports schedule. Our current cook preps dough Wednesday night, works full-time Thursday, Friday, and Saturday and then alternates Sundays. We realize that doing the dough prep on Wednesday is hard considering our location, so we have a plan b if that's not able to be done. At this current time, the cook is the only scheduled employee on Thursdays so, the cook would be the server, the cook, and the busser. This has worked out well so far as Thursdays are usually steady and not crazy but, it also can be crazy.
The restaurant is owned, operated, and managed by the two owners. There are no other managers or supervisors. So, when there is an issue or a problem, we are always available to help take care of it. No crazy managers or supervisors to constantly deal worth! With ski season now in full force, the restaurant will hopefully be busy all winter! That means steady consistent hours and good tips on Thursdays! We are open year round but winter season is our busiest because of the ski resort.
Please contact with any and all questions! We are willing to train somebody who is willing to learn! I, one of the co-owners, live just down the street from the restaurant so I am always popping in and out to help with things as well as take care of issues. I plan to be available to help the cook and server as much as possible, especially on the weekends!
Pay depends on experience. We are willing to pay a fair wage for experienced or unexperienced. You will also receive tips from the tables you serve while working alone on Thursdays as well as Friday afternoons, until the server comes in that evening.
