Ida Ore Zeolite is looking for a Maintenance Mechanic to add to our growing team in Idaho! This role is a member of the Ida-Ore Zeolite Team and is essential in keeping the production facility running smoothly so we can produce as much exceptional Zeolite as possible. Equipment to be maintained includes Hammer Mill, Conveyer Systems, Baggers, Sealers, Pneumatics, Forklifts, and Front loaders. Successful candidates will work an 8-10 hour schedule. Candidates will be eligible for a standard hourly rate and overtime wage. Pay will be based on industry knowledge and relevant experience and will fall within the advertised range. Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Construct, maintain and test mechanical equipment, machinery, and components, which may include the following: electrical, pneumatics, hydraulics, welding, and conveyor maintenance
Repair and sustain the operating conditions of the machinery and equipment to ensure machinery maintains continuous production
Respond to requests by production area when mechanical issues with equipment have been identified; communicate with production management and team members to diagnose problems and to determine potential mechanical problems
Set up, adjust, and maintain production line machinery and complete daily documentation that is required
Interpret drawings of equipment to properly adjust, maintain and/or repair machinery
Conduct regular visual inspections of production equipment; identify parts or machines needing new or replacement parts
Perform preventive maintenance; run tests to ensure that equipment is operating properly
Identify operational inefficiencies and make recommendations for improvement
Complete all maintenance functions promptly and following established procedures, policies, and safety regulations.
Keep management informed of area activities and any significant equipment problems
Ensure that work areas are clean, secure, and well-maintained
Stay informed of maintenance requirements
Complete special projects as needed
Maintain a positive attendance record by demonstrating consistent and punctual attendance regularly
Perform other related duties as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS:
Must be able to communicate effectively to all employees and management to resolve mechanical failures
Must be able to read manuals to repair equipment safely
Must have basic computer skills
Must be available for overtime
Valid Drivers's license issued by state of residence and in good standing
EXPERIENCE & EDUCATION:
Minimum of 3 years of industrial maintenance experience preferred
Bilingual is a plus
