Our company is looking for a person with some experience as a Diesel Mechanic to service and repair diesel engines and farm equipment. You will be responsible for diagnosing problems and performing preventive maintenance on trucks and farm equipment . Diagnosis will require knowledge of engines, electronics and hydraulics. You should be dependable, and able to work some longer hours during harvest times when needed.
Responsibilities:
Locate and diagnose faults in the ignition, fuel and cooling systems.
Keep proper records of the necessary repairs and changes to prevent future issues.
Recommend maintenance schedules and techniques to optimize the performance of machine.
Work mainly in the shop but also travel to nearby locations in a work pickup/service truck to repair trucks or machinery if needed. Please email or call 208-731-8231 if interested.
