Description We are seeking a Human Resources Operations and HRIS Systems Specialist to join our client's team located near Addison, Illinois. As a Human Resources Operations and HRIS Systems Specialist, you will play a crucial role in the smooth running of HR projects and operations, contributing to the achievement of specific goals and results within the HR department and ensuring the integrity of HRIS data. This position is hybrid (3 day in-office, 2 days work from home).Responsibilities: Assist with recruitment processes, including the coordination of interviews and the development of job descriptions. Facilitate onboarding for new hires and maintain updated records. Handle HR related inquiries or requests, both internal and external, and provide necessary assistance. Collaborate with other departments or functions such as payroll and benefits. Maintain the accuracy and integrity of all HRIS data and support ongoing system updates, testing, and enhancements. Contribute to the planning and coordination of employee engagement programs. Assist with administrative tasks related to Learning & Development. Assume receptionist duties when required, including greeting the public, answering and routing phone calls. Take on the responsibility for arranging travel and accommodations, preparing vouchers, ordering office supplies, and keeping inventory of stock. Participate in the planning and execution of office events, maintain the reception area, and manage office expenses and costs.Requirements At least 3 years of experience in a Human Resources role Experience in UKG Pro preferred, experience in a HRIS system required Knowledge of ATS Familiarity with Background Checks, Benefit Functions, Compliance, Onboarding, Rewriting Job Descriptions, Develop Job Descriptions, Applicant Screening, Resume Screening, Ability to conduct background checks Understanding of benefit functions and compliance regulations Experience in onboarding new employees Proficiency in rewriting and developing job descriptions Experience in applicant screening and resume screening Knowledge of HRIS - Human Resources Info Systems and UKG ProRobert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
