Description Accounts Payable/Receivable (AP/AR):Manage all invoicing, bill payments, and collections. Ensure accurate and timely recording of transactions in the accounting system.Safety Reports:Prepare and maintain safety documentation and reports, ensuring compliance with company policies and industry regulations.Quarterly Payroll Reports:Generate and submit quarterly payroll reports, ensuring compliance with state and federal guidelines. Collaborate with external payroll providers if necessary.Bank Reconciliations:Conduct monthly bank reconciliations to maintain the accuracy of financial records and identify discrepancies promptly.Report Preparation for Accountants/CPA Firm:Compile and organize financial data for external accountants or CPA firms to support tax filings and audits.QualificationsProven experience as a Bookkeeper, preferably in a construction or related industry.Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks) and Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.Strong knowledge of AP/AR, payroll reporting, and bank reconciliations.Familiarity with safety report documentation and compliance requirements is a plus.Excellent organizational and multitasking skills with attention to detail.Strong communication skills to liaise with internal teams and external accountants/benefit providers.Preferred SkillsExperience in construction accounting and familiarity with industry-specific practices such as job costing and lien waivers.Knowledge of payroll processing systems and compliance requirements for multiple jurisdictions.
