Accounts Receivable Analyst

Prepare, validate, schedule and deliver reports, and data extracts.Communicate reporting changes, enhancements, and modifications – verbally or through written documentation – to management and other employees so that issues and solutions are understood.Follow up with the department leadership before, during, and after implementation of reports or dashboards.Responsible for analyzing and reviewing reimbursement reports and processes, developing techniques for effective analyses of AR or reimbursement trends.Works with PFS leadership to modify reporting to meet operational specifics.Develops and maintains reports used for tracking and evaluating A/R performance in EPIC to maximize reimbursement.Provides reimbursement patterns and trends.Assist with denials prevention review and reporting to find trends in workflow.Prepares reports and analyses to include financial reports, setting forth progress, adverse trends and appropriate recommendations and conclusions.Submits external reports and handles all edits and changes required by meeting with appropriate departments to obtain correct data.Work with the IT subject matter experts entrusted with the task of designing, building, and testing reporting application solutions.Work closely with end users, to gather application specifications, create or request change to the detailed design specifications or reporting tools.Position Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Clinical or Computer Science or a related field preferred

Minimum of 2 years of experience in business intelligence, data analytics, or a similar role, including EPIC reporting, experience in a hospital setting preferred.

Demonstrated proficiency in writing SQL queries and stored procedures for Clarity/Caboodle databases.

Experience with reporting tools, including Epic Reporting Workbench reports, data extracts, Crystal Reports, PowerBI, QuickSight and Tableau preferred.

Detail-oriented, possessing strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
