OverviewPrime Healthcare is currently hiring for Surgical Nurse to join our team at the Aurora Multispeciality Clinic in Aurora, IL. In this role, you will perform a variety of nursing duties and act as a liaison between physicians, patients, management, and allied health team members.    You will oversee the clinical activities for the surgical technicians and ancillary staff in the planning and delivery of patient care. We are looking for a Nurses who have Operating Room experience or Critical Care Nurses wanting to transition into the OR.   The best part, you will be part of a close, very collaborative Operating Room team that assists with general surgery and other outpatient procedures. Nurse Practitioner and Registered Nurse licenses in the state.

BLS certification upon hire and maintained current.

Board certification as a Nurse Practitioner in the specialty is preferred.

Master’s in nursing required, Doctorate of Nursing preferred.

Two or more years of clinical experience as a nursing practitioner at a physician practice or in a hospital with a related specialty is strongly preferred.

Eligible for Drug Enforcement Administration Registration.

  • OR Nurse Fellowship Program

  • This nurse\'s primary role will be working in the Vascular Care Unit (VCU).  The VCU provides pre- and post-care for patients having cardiac catheterization, electrophysiology and interventional radiology procedures and also provides procedural sedation for some bedside procedures. Additionally, the nurse will cross-train to care for patients having ultrasound and CT procedures. A strong nursing background in ICU, ED, telemetry or previous similar position is required. ACLS and BLS are required. Must be able to take call, approximately every 6th weekend with a one-hour response time. 

  • The Clinical Manager is the clinical and business leader of a specific patient care unit(s) with accountability for planning, organizing, staffing, coaching, and motivating a professional team so that safe and effective care is delivered. The Clinical Manager is responsible for operations, human resources, financial management and the clinical outcomes of the unit(s).
