Training includes the set up, operation and routine machine maintenance. The Machine Operator will be required to follow all Quality Standards and maintain production requirements. THIS IS A 2ND SHIFT POSITION.Responsibilities
Setup, adjust, and operate equipment as trained in a safe manner
Read and understand blue prints
Properly use gages and other quality tools to ensure production of good parts
Perform first piece inspections, monitor the quality of all parts, and make adjustments to maintain quality standards
Perform minor preventative maintenance, complete all required tracking documents
Work with tooling and maintenance personnel to maximize production efficiencies
Perform the duties required to record data for SPC, ISO/IATF 16949 documentation
Qualifications, Skills & Experience
Ability to perform basic math
Good mechanical aptitude
HSD/GED or equivalent experience
Previous machine operation a plus
Previous Heading experience preferred
