Warehouse Associate - Bensenville, IL$17/hr6:30am-3pm Mon-FriJob DescriptionOur client is one of China's leading service providers of express logistics, working extensively with Amazon. This role is based in a new distribution center in Bensenville, IL. As a Warehouse Associate, you will be responsible for a variety of general warehouse tasks, ensuring smooth and efficient operations.Responsibilities
Receive pallets and break them down
Scan each product into the system
Verify orders are correct per packing slip/Warehouse Management System (WMS)
Sort products and palletize based on final destination or store on racks for inventory
Label all outgoing products via UPS, FEDEX, or internal system
Load trucks using a sit-down forklift
Conduct cycle counts
Perform moderate cleaning tasks such as disposal of pallets, sweeping, mopping, and general upkeep as needed
Work EnvironmentThis position will involve working 80% of the time on the warehouse floor and 20% doing computer work. You will be part of the inbound team, lifting 50 lbs. about 50% of the time. This is a contract position through February for peak season, working Monday to Friday.Benefits/Perks
