MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
High school diploma or equivalent
Pass AWS welding and Canadian certification
Ability to read tape measure, square, and blueprints
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Able to read and understand weld symbols
Experience using an arc gouger
Previous crane certification
Material handling experience
Minimum 1 year related experience
Welding background with knowledge of standard procedures
Trained and confident in overhead crane use

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Perform fit-up, tacking, and welding on structural assemblies
Follow all weld standards and procedures
Add stiffeners, brackets, plates, and other components per prints
Use clamps, jigs, tape, square, arc air gouger, torch, and plasma safely and effectively
Operate overhead cranes
Maintain required records and documentation
Inspect and report faulty equipment, materials, or conditions
Keep work area and equipment clean and orderly
Follow all safety rules, regulations, and quality standards
Perform other duties as needed and support your team
