Description We are in search of a Staff Accountant to become an integral part of our team based in Burr Ridge, Illinois, 60527, United States. As a Staff Accountant, you will be tasked with maintaining financial records, processing accounts payable and receivable, and ensuring accuracy in bank reconciliations and journal entries. This role offers a short term contract employment opportunity and is pivotal in the seamless operation of our financial department.Responsibilities: Handle accounts payable (AP) and ensure all financial transactions are accurately recorded. Manage accounts receivable (AR) and maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records. Conduct regular bank reconciliations to guarantee the integrity of financial data. Record journal entries for income and expenses, ensuring each entry is recorded accurately. Carry out month-end close activities, including the preparation of financial reports and statements. Utilize Quickbooks Online for financial management and accounting tasks, ensuring all data is accurately inputted and maintained.
