Job Description
Candidates will be helping develop a 125MW (phase 2) project in Eldorado, IL. panel solar array. Duties will include but not limited to installing panels, assembling racking, torquing bolts/nuts/fixtures, wire management, string wire, inverter installation, trenching, conduit bending, material staging, and other labor duties. Project will last over one year and candidates must be able to work 40+ hours per week.
Pay: $18/hr (with opportunity for growth and promotion while on contract)
Shift: Monday - Thursday: 7:00a - 5:30p & Friday - Saturday: 7:00a - 3:30p
Desired Qualifications:
No prior experience in solar necessary experience in any general labor field is desired
Ability to work in adverse weather conditions: Cold, snow, rain, wind, and heat
Ability to use hand tools and power tools
Ability to be on feet for the entire length of shift
Willing to learn and take direction
