I am the President of Manasseh NFP. Manasseh is a 501(c)(3) not-for-profit, Christian charity. I am seeking someone to fill a role as a fundraiser for our organization.
In order to be considered for the position, you must visit our website and thoroughly acquaint yourself with our vision and mission. You must be 100% in agreement with this charity’s goals. If you do not share a passion for our mission, this is not for you.

Upon interest in the mission of Manasseh, you must work as an UNPAID volunteer for the organization for several weeks. If you show strong fundraising potential, as evidenced by actual significant funds being secured for our charity as a result of your work, we will strongly consider hiring you for a part-time position. If you excel at this work, we will consider a full-time position.
With time, you should grow more confident and capable of securing funds for our organization from potential donors. If we hire you and you cannot meet our goals, we will be forced to terminate you as we will not be able to pay you.
We are starting from scratch, and we have a long way to go to fulfill our purpose, but we are confident that God Almighty will open doors for us. If you help us build this organization into a successful charity, we will do everything we can to ensure you are well-compensated and recognized for your work. When our organization has moved into its final phases, we will be permanently changing thousands of lives of the most destitute and vulnerable people in the southern Illinois region for the better. You can be a part of history in the making.
Candidate qualities will include:
Passion for the mission of Manasseh
Commitment to our goals
A commitment to the teachings of the Lord Jesus Christ
Honesty and integrity above reproach
A strong drive to secure funds and build relationships with donors
Patience and kindness with donors
Fearlessness to approach donors and to fundraise in public
Professional appearance when working in public
Cannot have felony convictions or a record of thefts, forgery, or other financially related crimes
Must have Christian references to attest to your character
Marketing or fundraising background would be beneficial but not required
Responsibilities will include:
Familiarizing yourself with the goals of Manasseh
Building a donor call list (I will help you with this.)
Calling and soliciting potential donors by phone
Knowing how to successfully persuade donors and to secure donations
Soliciting funds in public which may include: sitting outside of stores, standing by the roadside, and going door-to-door in cities and towns across southern Illinois
Building relationships with churches that may allow speaking engagements to further our cause and raise funds
Upon an actual hire, responsibilities may expand to encompass all facets of the charity with fundraising remaining the key component of employment
In due time, become a face and public spokesperson for Manasseh NFP
