Mortgage lenders require periodic updates on the properties they have financial interest in. The lender contracts with Pro Select Realty Company to have inspectors go out to verify the property occupancy, report general property conditions. They vary by order, from determining general occupancy/condition, to leaving door hangers as requested from the various clients, to meeting with homeowners for insurances repair inspections, among other types. Applicants must be able to follow written instructions clearly and be a problem solver. Various resources must often be utilized to locate or determine correct addresses, as well as overcome the different obstacles in the field. Experience with optimizing and routing multiple stops is very beneficial, and highly preferred. Applicant must be comfortable communicating with homeowners, neighbors, county resources, etc. as necessary to complete the task given.
Job Responsibilities:
Requires being able to spend extended periods of time driving
Efficient time management to route and complete inspections with an estimated 3-5 day turnaround time in your agreed territory
Make a determination of occupancy based on industry standards and report general property conditions
Using a mobile app to obtain all photographs, comments, and form documentation
Applicant MUST be completely comfortable with technology. Must be highly proficient with either iPhone or Android smartphones, email, and various software systems.
Requirements:
Valid US driver’s license
iPhone or Android phone/tablet with unlimited data capabilities
Reliable\Fuel efficient vehicle
Must be financially able to pay for fuel
Current car insurance
Daylight hour availability
GPS capability
Must live in area they are applying for
Pay and Hours:
Set rate is $10-$20 dollars per inspection
This will vary depending on location, volume and efficiency.
Inspectors are paid out every Friday by direct deposit for work completed the prior week
