Job Summary

Harry Carter Contracting Firm is a rapidly growing general contracting firm serving Southern Illinois and surrounding areas in Missouri and Kentucky. We are planning to add to our Project Management Team in anticipation of continued and accelerated growth in 2019. As a Project Manager, you will serve and assist our clients by walking them through their construction and restoration projects as well as the insurance claims process when applicable. You will perform site visits to obtain necessary information to develop and present estimates. You will be responsible for overseeing your client projects from start to finish. You will work closely and communicate regularly with our Production and Office staff to provide a unique and professional experience for our clients. This position offers a training period base pay and unlimited commission-based income potential. Project Managers can expect to make in the $40-$50K range by hitting minimum sales goals in a given year. Applicants must reside in the Southern Illinois area.

Job Duties

Perform site visits to gather project scope information such as measurements and sketches. Work with production and office staff to develop estimates.

Present final estimates and our value to clients to close and contract the project.

Perform roof and property inspections to determine scope of storm damage on all exteriors as well as any interior damage. Fill out inspection form fully and upload to client file.

Document all damage with photos and upload them to client file.

Walk client through the insurance process using company brochures and other company material.

Obtain a commitment from client to work with HCCF using a contingency agreement.

Meet with insurance adjuster or other 3rd party on the property to discuss and agree/confirm the scope of damage.

After an agreed scope and price is confirmed, formally contract the job with the scope and price to be completed by HCCF.

Turn in a completed and buildable job with all necessary forms, contracts, photos, and payments per HCCF policies and procedures.

Assist production by providing any missing items, change orders, or verifying materials and scope.

Assist accounts receivable in obtaining progress, change order, and final payments.

Maintain regular and clear communication with the client throughout the restoration process.

Obtain new leads through referrals, networking, and working areas where builds are taking place.

Provide weekly and monthly sales and activity reports.

Attend and participate in sales meetings and other continuing education and informative events.

Work evening and weekend appointments as needed.

Qualifications

Minimum High School Graduate/College Graduate Preferred

Excellent written and communication skills

Excellent organizational skills

Sales and/or construction experience preferred but not required

Must have reliable transportation as well as a vehicle that can carry a ladder and other supplies needed (Truck or SUV)

Computer skills: Familiar with basic computer software such as Word, Excel, etc.

Phone with the ability to download and utilize apps

Ability to work outdoors for long periods of time in varying temperatures (This position is approximately 80% field and 20% office)

Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Ability to climb a ladder, access and walk a roof to inspect for damage.
