Herriott’s Rents Tents Events is a local family-owned and operated business serving Champaign and surrounding counties; seeking staff for March-November 2025 and beyond to join our team.
What you’ll bring:
- Positive mental attitude regarding project work; the successful candidate will exhibit flexibility and eagerness to perform a task to completion, whether working independently or in a group
- Ability to meet physical aspects: lifting up to 70 lbs repeatedly; standing for long periods; much of the work is performed outdoors in varied types of weather
- Excellent eye for detail and can keep an accurate inventory
- Ability to interact positively and respectfully with customers on phone or in person and with fellow staff members
- Possess valid driver’s license with access to operating vehicle for reporting to work; clear driving record and box truck experience for those operating company vehicles; forklift experience a plus
- Understand and comply with company’s policies
- Safe, quick learners with the above qualifications will be given priority
