HOME SYNC is seeking motivated individuals to join our home theater installation team.
Our home base is Champaign IL, but we also travel to jobs throughout central Illinois, eastern Indiana, and around St. Louis. Our ideal candidate works well within a small team or partnership, communicates, and takes pride in their work.Experience in mounting and setting up TVs, sound bars, receivers, cameras, satellites is highly preferred, but we will train the right candidate.
Main duties include:
- pick up of product at Best Buy stores (you will work with a teammate and one of our Home Sync transit vans)
- delivery and installation/set up of product in client's home (includes TV and soundbar mounting, in-wall power kit, mounting bracket, connecting to WIFI, educating the client on use of product)
- doorbell and wifi connected camera install and set up
- Troubleshooting services
- Starlink satellite system site survey and installation services
- occasional delivery and set up of fitness equipment and entertainment furniture items
- Assisting in routing jobs for the upcoming day
- Communicating effectively and professionally with clients, including Best Buy associates
Other duties:
- inventory of work vans/supplies/equipment each van will have the tools required for the job - you will not be required to purchase your own tools or supplies
- ensuring routine van maintenance is complete per manager's request (at Home Sync expense)
Pay will be determined after interview and hire and is largely based on experience and the level of duties you will be assigned.
Requirements and expectations of all applicants:
- Valid driver's license
- Legally allowed to work in the US
- Reliable transportation
- 9-panel urine drug screening will be required prior to start date (arranged and paid for by Home Sync)
- Ability to lift 75 pounds
- Ability to climb a ladder and work on a roof (no higher than 2 story)
