Wolfram, creator of Mathematica, Wolfram|Alpha and Wolfram Language, is seeking a highly motivated Quality Assurance Intern to join its Quality Assurance department. This intern will help implement internal tools for the Quality Assurance team to use. Responsibilities
Retrieving data stored on MySQL backend with Python or PHP
Retrieving usage information in JSON format and interpreting it in accordance with the tools that use the backend data
Constructing new JSON objects that represent the backend data in detail so they can be used by other tools
Writing web interfaces to view and search backend data using constructed data objects
Implementing a Wolfram Language function to access test plan data within Wolfram Language
Qualifications
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively
Knowledge of programming languages
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Experience with Linux operating systems
