We are seeking an Accounting Manager to join our dynamic team. The role will be key to integrating the various groups within the company and creating fluid operations.

Primary Job Responsibilities:

Wear multiple hats across the organization and be a key early member of a high-growth company.

Maintain the general ledger and ensure the accuracy of all accounting entries.

Execute month-end closing procedures proficiently, delivering financial statements promptly.

Financial budget to actual comparisons.

Perform monthly and quarterly reconciliations for all pertinent accounts.

Handle invoicing, payables, and meticulous 1099 preparation.

Prepare reconciliations and support schedules to assist with tax return preparation and other compliance reports as required.

Process all payroll information including earnings, taxes, and deductions, to ensure all work complies with the Company’s policies in addition to Federal, State, and local wage and tax laws. Ensure this is done accurately and timely.

Provide oversight on benefits administration, collaborating closely with senior management to align strategies with corporate objectives.

Advise leadership on any proposed new legislation or regulation that may impact the company and its employees and ensure our employee handbook is updated and consistent.

Administer policies, procedures, and a plan to execute training and communication to employees.

Supervise the employee onboarding/initiation process.

Manage and timely review of facility, employee, and management insurance policies to ensure sufficient coverage is maintained as the company expands.

Document and maintain policy and procedures.

Undertake ad-hoc projects as assigned.

Job Requirements:

Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

5+ years experience in an accounting/finance role.

Knowledge of proper financial reporting in accordance with GAAP, internal controls, and adherence to Company policy and external agreements.

Must be proficient in Quickbooks or other accounting software.

Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word

Attention to detail, a strong work ethic, and honesty are key requirements.
