Our busy real estate property management office is looking for a very well-experienced bookkeeper to take charge of accounts receivable.
We hope this full-time position is interesting for a full-charge bookkeeper, or an account: someone who is familiar with ledger cards.
Our ideal candidate will be a "numbers person" with years in similar office positions. Our office is quite busy with a staff of four. And since the office is small, usual tasks such as filing, phone answering and messaging, lending a hand to others when possible, etc. are integral to the job.
While familiarity with Microsoft Office-particularly Excel-is necessary, much of the work is paper and pencil. Limited telephone collection is also required in this role. Preparation of some legal notices and the monthly "delinquency report" will be the responsibility of this person. Completing the monthly close-out process will become another responsibility after a few months of training.
This is a full-time, in-person positon: Monday-Friday from 9-5 and one Saturday each month. Starting compensation will be no less than $50K per year and will depend upon prior experience. There will be a review after about 90 days during which the salary could be adjusted.
The position begins February 1, 2025; however, there could be an earlier start to work with the incumbant for training.
