This is an in-office role at our location in Lombard, Illinois, with both full-time and part-time options available.
We are a medium-sized trucking company projected to grow in the next few months. We specialize in refrigerated, hazmat, and dry freight, operating in 49 states and Canada.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage billing and collections.
Assist with accounts payable and receivable.
Use PCS Express Software for tracking and reconciliation.
Support the Accounting Manager with daily financial tasks.
Collaborate with dispatchers, operations managers, and the CFO.
Qualifications:
Experience: 3+ years in accounting in the trucking business.
Education: Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred. Experience may compensate for educational requirements.
Attention to Detail: Strong attention to detail is essential for this role.
Familiarity with PCS Express Software is a strong plus.
Skills:

Proficiency with computers and the ability to quickly learn accounting systems.
Ability to learn and adapt to new systems and processes.
