A Downers Grove construction company, now in our 45th year of business, seeks an experienced bookkeeper/ accountant. The job position will be part-time with flexible hours with approximately 25 hours a week. The candidate will handle day to day bookkeeper operations as well as other general office duties. Available to start ASAP.
Responsibilities may include but are not limited to:
Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable
Invoicing and collections
Bank and Credit Card account reconciliations
Managing phone calls, sales tax, 1099s, and journal entries
Creating lien waivers and handling subcontractor certificates of insurance
Other general office duties
Qualifications
Proficient in Quickbooks, Microsoft Excel, and Word
Construction industry experience helpful but not required
3+ years Experience in bookkeeping/accounting
