Position Description:
The Quantitative analyst is responsible for doing market research and finding solutions to difficult financial issues using descriptive and inferential statistics. The Analyst will examine internal and external trade data, and market data in order to confirm assumptions, suggest changes to strategy, develop trading ideas, as well as validating client trading performance.
In collaboration with management, the trading and operational teams, the Analyst will develop appropriate variables and metrics for assessing the performance of securities trading platforms and the market as a whole. Subsequently, they will provide in-depth insight that detail their findings and offer interpretations of the analyzed financial data to help with decision-making. Additionally, the Analyst will verify the accuracy of data processing techniques.
Examine internal and external trade data, and market data in order to confirm assumptions, suggesting changes to strategy, develop trading ideas, as well as validating client trading performance.
Develop appropriate variables and metrics for assessing the performance of securities trading platforms and the market as a whole.
Provide in-depth insight that detail their findings and offer interpretations of the analyzed financial data to help with decision-making.
Verify the accuracy of data processing techniques.
Examine market trends and data, and then analyze this information.
Be responsible for carrying out daily or periodic statistical analysis, such as risk analytics, loan valuation, default risk modeling, and other similar tasks.
Collaborate and consult with trading team to validate findings and investigate outliers and data abnormalities.
Present and interpret findings to the trading team as well as management. Suggest recommendations and trading ideas based on these findings.

Qualifications & Skills:
Master's Degree, preferably in Economics or Finance
Active SIE and Series 7
Minimum of 2 years of DCF Modeling, Financial Modeling, Programming, and Statistical Analysis experience
