Job Summary
As a Payroll Processor, you’ll be responsible for assisting clients with accurate and timely payroll processing, maintaining employee data, and providing exceptional customer support. This is an entry-level to mid-level role with full training provided and growth potential into higher positions within the firm.
Duties
Process client payrolls accurately and on schedule
Maintain payroll records and ensure compliance with state and federal regulations
Handle employee setup, deductions, and adjustments
Communicate professionally with clients regarding payroll issues and questions
Assist with payroll tax filings and year-end reports
Maintain confidentiality and data integrity at all times
Support the accounting team with additional administrative or bookkeeping tasks as needed
Participate in training and development opportunities to enhance skills
Qualifications
No degree required — training will be provided
Prior cash-handling, bookkeeping, retail, or office administration experience helpful
Strong attention to detail and time management skills
Comfortable working with computers and learning payroll/accounting software
Excellent communication and customer service skills
Dependable, punctual, and professional in appearance and attitude
Compensation & Benefits
Starting salary: $37,000 annually
