Chicago area real estate investment company is seeking a full time Financial Controller to oversee investment portfolio bookkeeping and accounting. The controller is responsible for the efficient management of all bookkeeping and day to day accounting activities within the office.
This position shall have primary responsibility for managing accounts receivable, accounts payable, financial data entry in management and accounting software as well as basic accounting and record keeping. The Financial Controller shall work closely with the company executive team to insure effective communication and reporting of all material financial information and shall coordinate with outside accountants for income tax accounting. Ideal candidate will have a C.P.A. or B.S. in accounting as well as a working knowledge of Yardi or AppFolio property management software.
Part time position with possibility for full time, salaried position with benefits including healthcare, vacation, performance bonuses and 401(k).
