Local tax office newly opened in Jarvis Square, Rogers Park is hiring a Tax Office Assistant / Tax Preparer for the current tax season.
We are looking for someone reliable, professional, and comfortable working with the public. This is a great opportunity to get steady work during tax season with a growing local office.
Job Duties Include:
Greeting walk-in clients and answering phones
Collecting client information and documents
Preparing basic tax returns (W-2, 1099, self-employed) or assisting the preparer
Scheduling appointments and follow-ups
General office support
Requirements:
Prior tax preparation experience preferred but not required
Comfortable using a computer and basic software
Good communication skills (Spanish a plus, not required)
Reliable, punctual, and professional
Able to work during tax season (Jan–April)
Schedule:
Full-time or Part-time available
Flexible hours, including some evenings/weekends
Pay:
Competitive hourly pay
