Job Summary
As a Tax Senior, you’ll work closely with firm management to oversee client relationships, support our tax operations, and gain hands-on experience in firm leadership. This role is ideal for someone who’s ready to take the next step in their accounting career with growth and development opportunity into management role.
Duties
Supervise and assist bookkeeping staff with assigned monthly clients
Review monthly financial statements prior to management approval
Prepare and manage business and individual tax returns
Provide proactive tax planning and consulting services to clients
Handle new-client setup and any necessary back-work
Maintain organized and accurate client and tax files
Participate in tax resolution and client problem-solving
Support and train clients or their employees on accounting systems as needed
Contribute to firm growth by asking clients for referrals and expanding service offerings
Maintain professionalism, punctuality, and a clean, organized workspace
Foster a positive, team-oriented work environment
Qualifications
CPA or EA certification (preferred or in progress)
Strong computer, communication, and organizational skills
Solid understanding of tax principles (a plus, but willing to train the right candidate)
Professional demeanor and client-service mindset
Compensation & Benefits
Competitive pay: $70,000 – $100,000, based on experience
