Autos of Chicago is growing and looking for a skilled Automotive Service Advisor to join our busy, high-volume dealership. This position requires someone organized, reliable, and able to manage workflow efficiently.
Responsibilities:
Greet customers and write up service repairs
Explain recommended maintenance and repair needs
Communicate pricing, timelines, and service updates
Coordinate with technicians to ensure accurate repairs
Handle all new vehicle arrivals: open ROs, track repair progress, communicate status, and close ROs when work is complete
Dispatch work to technicians and manage shop workflow
Upsell maintenance services and protection packages
Maintain strong customer satisfaction and follow-up
Requirements:
Previous Service Advisor experience preferred
Strong communication and customer service skills
Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
Basic automotive knowledge required
Professional appearance and dependable work ethic
DMS experience a plus (DealerTrack)
