Claim Executive
Location: Chicago, IL Area (Office-Based with Field Inspections as Needed)
Compensation Structure: Self-employed Base pay: $31,000 per year, Monday to Friday. Commissions: $25,000–$40,000 per year potential based on performance.
About the Role
We are looking for a highly skilled Property Claims Estimator & Insurance Negotiator to join our growing team.
This is a primarily office-based position, focused on writing professional estimates, building strong claim strategies, and negotiating directly with insurance carriers. Field inspections will be performed when necessary.
This role requires technical knowledge, strong communication, and the ability to control the file from start to resolution.

Key Responsibilities
Prepare accurate, professional estimates. Xactimate experience preferred but not required (training provided)
Background in construction, restoration, or insurance estimating is a plus

Analyze and document interior damages, including:
Water damage
Fire damage
Mold-related damage
Drywall, insulation, flooring, and structural components
Analyze and document exterior damages, including:
Roofing systems
Siding
Gutters
Soft metals and storm-related components
Lead insurance negotiations to maximize claim outcomes (this is the primary function of the role)
Perform field inspections when required, including:
Detailed photographs
Measurements
Damage documentation
Communicate professionally with:
Insurance adjusters
Homeowners
Contractors
Assist in closing new clients and securing agreements when needed
Maintain organized, detailed claim files and activity logs
Manage multiple claims efficiently and independently
Requirements
Knowledge of:
Interior mitigation and restoration work
Exterior storm and structural damage
Strong negotiation skills with insurance companies
Detail-oriented with excellent damage documentation skills
Ability to manage workload independently in a fast-paced environment
Comfortable meeting homeowners and closing agreements when required
Language Requirement
English required
BILINGUAL Spanish (required).
Xactimate experience preferred but not required (training provided)
Background in construction, restoration, or insurance estimating is a plus
