Job Description:

Position Overview: As the Vice President of Luxury Multi-Family Construction, you will play a pivotal role in driving our mission to deliver top-tier luxury multi-family residential developments. You will lead a team of construction professionals, oversee project execution, and ensure that our projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. This is a senior leadership role that requires strategic thinking, strong leadership skills, and a deep understanding of luxury construction.

Key Responsibilities:

Strategic Leadership: Develop and implement the construction department's strategic plan, aligning it with the company's overall objectives. Provide visionary leadership to the construction team.

Project Management: Oversee all luxury multi-family construction projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. Monitor project progress and make necessary adjustments.

Team Management: Build and lead a high-performing construction team, including project managers, site supervisors, and other construction professionals. Foster a culture of excellence, collaboration, productivity, and accountability.

Budget and Cost Management: Manage the construction budget, including cost estimation, tracking, and cost control measures. Ensure that projects are financially viable and meet profitability targets.

Quality Assurance: Implement and enforce quality control measures to guarantee the delivery of luxury living spaces that exceed client and market expectations.

Vendor and Subcontractor Relations: Develop and maintain strong relationships with subcontractors, suppliers, and vendors. Negotiate contracts and agreements to optimize project outcomes.

Risk Management: Identify and mitigate construction-related risks and ensure compliance with all relevant building codes and regulations.

Client and Stakeholder Relations: Collaborate closely with clients, architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure alignment with project goals and objectives. Provide regular project updates to clients.

Sustainability: Champion sustainable construction practices and environmentally friendly building techniques in all projects where feasible.

Reporting: Prepare regular reports for senior management and executives, summarizing project progress, challenges, and financial performance.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).

A minimum of 20 years of experience in luxury-high-rise AND garden-style multi-family construction, with at least 10 years in a leadership role.

Proven track record of successfully delivering luxury-high-rise AND garden-style multi-family residential projects on time and within budget.

Strong leadership and team management skills.

Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.

In-depth knowledge of construction industry best practices, regulations, and technologies.

Proficiency in project management software and tools.

Commitment to safety, quality, and sustainability.
