Overview:
We are seeking an enthusiastic and creative Organized Play Coordinator who is passionate about helping to grow our TCG community for Magic: The Gathering, Pokémon, Disney Lorcana, Star Wars Unlimited and more. (Experience DMing is a plus but not a requirement.)
Duties:
Grow a friendly, welcoming player community from the ground up.
Uphold and enforce our in-store play policies.
Learn the game rules and tournament scheduling and reporting software for our featured games.
Schedule, coordinate, and run all gaming events, ensuring a smooth and enjoyable experience for all participants.
Promote upcoming events through various social media channels, engaging our community and encouraging participation.
Teach new and existing players the rules of the games, fostering a sense of community and passion for the games.
Provide friendly and effective customer service, creating a welcoming environment
Setup and breakdown event spaces, ensuring everything is in order for a successful event.
Create, promote and run TCG Birthday Parties and Special Events
Collaborate and communicate with ownership and team members, maintaining open lines of communication and a team-oriented approach.
Requirements:
Excellent interpersonal skills with a focus on kindness, friendliness, patience, and teaching.
Excellent verbal and written communication and skills.
Strong Spreadsheet Skills
Excellent organizational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
Ability to prioritize a high number of tasks in a self directed environment.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Willingness to work evenings, nights, and weekends as required.
Passion for gaming and familiarity with the games mentioned is a plus.
Optional:
Additionally, if interested, more hours are also available by running D&D either as a back-up DM for our other DM's, D&D Parties, or other D&D event opportunities, such as one-shots, D&D Summer Camp, etc.

No Outside Food or Drinks: Also, just a friendly note so that you are aware ahead of time. While we don’t allow outside food and drinks, including water, tea, coffee, etc., we do have a full pantry and cooler with a wide range of snacks and drinks available as well as a menu book for our local restaurant partner who will deliver to your table if you wish.
