Part-Time Customer Service
Tired of the barista or food service work? We’re looking for artists, students, and actors who want a part-time job in customer service. You’ll work 8am to 12pm, Monday through Friday, and we’ll train you! If you’re a self-starter who has a positive attitude, willingness to learn, and strong communication skills, we’d like to hear from you.
We are a major retailer that designs and manufactures signage for financial institutions nationwide, and we need a motivated person to join us in our Logan Square (near Target) office.
Responsibilities
Handle incoming telephone calls to assist customers with product orders and other needs
Respond to email and online chat inquiries about our products and services
Prepare sales quotes
Prepare orders for production
Learn about our products to provide accurate information to customers
Manage in-process orders to ensure accuracy and on-time delivery; coordinate closely with the art and shipping departments
Maintain records of customer accounts and interactions
Follow our communication procedures, guidelines, and policies
Build relationships with customers through open and interactive communication
Perform additional office administration tasks, such as filing important documents
Qualifications
Computer and keyboarding skills, including MS Office proficiency
Ability to measure accurately with a ruler or measuring tape
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including phone-contact handling skills and being an active
listener
Pleasant and positive attitude while working with customers and co-workers
Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time wisely
Valid driver’s license
