Warehouse Fulfillment Associate

Job Title: Fulfillment Associate - Part Time, but may lead to full time after a trial period.

We are a Wholesale business that works with artisans in developing countries to produce home goods and accessories, our suppliers follow fair trade practices. We ship to about 1,700 retail stores across the US, Canada and Europe. We have been in business since 2012.

Job Summary: Fulfillment Associate – member of the fulfillment team that helps to ensure the accuracy of product leaving and entering the Winding Road Warehouse.

Duties/Responsibilities:

Supports the Fulfillment/Warehouse team by picking, packing customer orders with accuracy, requiring attention to detail.

Ensuring that orders are shipped on time and packed and shipped appropriately to arrive safely to customers.

Serves as the last set of eyes on the product for quality control purposes and brings any quality control issues to the attention to the supervisor.

Orders supplies such as boxes, bags, tape, etc, as needed and assists in the receiving, unpacking and organizing incoming goods and supplies.

Counts in, unpacks and puts away incoming shipments of goods.

Assists in the moving and reorganizing of product/materials.

Restocks and organizes shelves daily/weekly as needed.

Participates in monthly, quarterly, and year-end inventory.

Provides general warehouse support including but not limited to organizing, cleaning, maintaining workspaces, and assisting with efficient and organized workflow.

Daily trash removal, recycling, and breaking down of boxes.

Responsible for keeping personal workspace clean and safe.

Required Skills/Abilities:

 Packing and shipping experience in a warehouse, retail or wholesale environment.

 Ability to function well in a high-paced environment

 Eager to help and be a team player

 Accurate and detail oriented

 Resourceful problem solver and self starter

 Motivated and responsible, and with optimistic attitude.

 Tech-savvy (can update printer drivers, connect printers and computers to Bluetooth, ets)

Education and Experience: High school diploma or equivalent.

Physical Requirements:

Can withstand prolonged periods of standing.

Must be able to regularly lift up to 40 pounds.

Ability to bend, twist and stoop from time to time
