We are looking for two Assistant Directors to join our team. In this role, you will work closely with the Director and the Operations Manager to efficiently manage daily operations. No prior experience is necessary as training will be provided. We seek highly driven and dedicated individuals eager to learn and grow, with an ambition to become a Director in the future.
This position can be either full-time or part-time, Monday through Friday, and offers paid time off, paid holidays, and paid training opportunities.
Job Responsibilities:
1. Assist in creating work schedules, evaluating staff performance, and developing performance improvement plans.
2. Support the implementation of the company-provided curriculum (Teaching Strategies), including coaching and effectively communicating standards to educators.
3. Ensure that the curriculum and developmentally appropriate practices are maintained at the center.
4. Be present on-site in a teaching or management capacity whenever the Director is unavailable; flexibility is essential.
5. Assist in the enrollment process for prospective parents and facilitate the onboarding of new families.
6. Participate in recruiting, selecting, and retaining high-quality staff.
7. Support other duties as assigned by the director.
Job Requirements:
1. Must be at least 21 years old.
2. No experience is required, but candidates must meet the Illinois state-required credentials to serve as a Director and/or Assistant Director. No exceptions will be made.
3. Must be current with all State of Illinois requirements regarding Illinois Gateway and yearly training; no exceptions will be made.
4. A CDA, Associate’s, or Bachelor’s Degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field is preferred.

Pay: $48,000.00 per year and up.
