We are looking for an assistant for our home daycare program for immediate start! The position is part time Monday through Friday, for a maximum of 20 hours for the first 60 days between the hours 7:00am-6:00. More hours to be added after the first 60 days. Candidate must have a flexible, on call schedule, love babies, be familiar with DCFS care requirements and possess prior childcare experience.
- Work with director and fellow assistants
- Maintain a safe and healthy environment
- Be able to share in the cooking, serving and cleaning responsibilities
- Maintain a neat and tidy nursery
- Maintain confidentiality and daily open communication with parents
- Bilingual English/Spanish a plus but not required.
Candidate must meet all applicable DCFS licensing regulations such as have a high school diploma, be able to pass a physical and TB test, be able to obtain a CPR/First Aid certificate and attend yearly sponsored continuing education classes. Clear DCFS background check required.
