Are you passionate about engaging kids through drama, storytelling, and active play? Our Ravenswood-based kids' recreation center is looking for a creative and energetic individual to lead themed kids' Active Arts classes!
About the Role:
As a Kids Drama/Active Storyteller, you’ll facilitate imaginative, interactive classes that combine drama, storytelling, and physical activity. Our Active Arts program introduces kids to creative themes like superheroes, fairy tales, and Disney-inspired adventures while incorporating fitness, games, arts and crafts, and STEAM projects.
Details:
Schedule: Saturday mornings for a 7-8 week session, with a break week between sessions.
Pay: $50/hour.
Opportunities for Growth: Potential for additional hours and roles in future programs.
Requirements:
Some experience working with kids (formal training or degrees are a plus but not required).
A creative and enthusiastic approach to engaging children.
Availability on Saturday mornings for the full session duration.
Three (3) professional references.
Ability to pass a third-party background check.
