Qualifications
Must be authorized to work in the US and have a valid government issued ID
At least 19 years old
BS, BA or AAS in Early Childhood Education, Elementary Education or related field with at least 6 semester hours of college credit in Early Childhood Education
Minimum of 1 year experience working with children 3-5 years old
Minimum of 1 year experience as a Lead Teacher
Purpose of position
The Lead Preschool Teacher will be responsible for the basic daily operations of the classroom. This includes planning and prepping curriculum, leading small and large group activities and discussing children's progress with parents. This position is also responsible for overseeing the Assistant Teacher(s), as well as ensuring the safety of all children and other responsibilities that are assigned.
