If you are an Architect looking to have a greater impact on local communities, Tria is seeking a highly motivated Project Architect to join our Educational and Municipal design team. The right person must be able to work independently as well as part of a team on a variety of project types and sizes.
The position includes:
- Participation in the design of Educational and Municipal projects throughout Illinois.
- Production of project documents through all aspects of Architectural Design from schematic design and space planning to construction documents and construction observation.
- Coordination with Engineers, contractors, and in-house teams.
- As a mid-size firm everyone in our office is involved in all phases of a project.
- Potential for growth within the firm.
Requirements:
- 5+ years of commercial Architectural experience involving masonry and steel building envelopes (3+ years will be accepted if a at least 3 years of experience involves mostly educational or municipal projects)
- Minimum of a Bachelors Degree in Architecture
- Excellent communication skills
- Proficient in AutoCAD
- Experience with Revit a plus.
- Experience with Construction Documents and detailing
- Experience with public bid projects a plus
- An eagerness to grow as an Architect
