Genesis10 is currently seeking a Network/System Engineer with our client in the financial industry in their Chicago, IL location. This is an 8 month + contract position.

The Credit MAPS Analyst is a dynamic problem solver working in a high-pressure trading environment that demands strong global partnerships, well developed technical and financial expertise, and a strict adherence to process guidelines
Position may have some weekend/evening coverage hours based on support rotation
The ability to develop expertise quickly and independently is a highly valued attribute of the analyst

The following are key responsibilities fulfilled by a Credit MAPS Analyst (although not limited to):
First point of contact for business requests and reported impact (Business facing)
Monitoring and alerting of critical trading system environments
Release implementation and post-release testing
Build and maintain strong partnerships with business stakeholders, application development personnel, and infrastructure contacts
Troubleshooting of complex systems issues
Proactive identification and resolution of problem hotspots
Development of tools and driving efficiency/stability improvements
Accurate tracking of support effort to enable effective management reporting
Enforcement of change management policy
