Part-Time Construction Project Manager/Estimator (Chicago)
Opportunity to Grow into Full-Time Role
We’re seeking a motivated, flexible, and resourceful graduate architect with strong estimating experience to support multiple ongoing residential construction projects in Chicago. This is a part-time, as-needed position with the opportunity to grow into a full-time role.
Responsibilities include:
Conducting research and managing the process to obtain 203K Certification
Providing project support
Creating SketchUp drawings for subcontractors and internal planning as required
Acting as a project manager, estimator, and field supervisor, depending on project needs
Overseeing field work and supporting on-site supervision
Helping to develop and manage our company website and digital presence
Being available Monday through Saturday, with a strong preference for weekend availability
Qualifications:
Recent architecture graduate with construction estimating experience
Must have administrative experience and strong organizational and communication skills
Must be able to draw and provide drawings for projects that may lack complete documentation
Comfortable wearing multiple hats: project management, estimating, field supervision
Strong initiative – you'll need to research and execute tasks independently
Seeking candidates looking for a long-term, full-time opportunity, starting part-time
Must be local to Chicago or willing to work in the city
You’ll be reporting directly to a senior construction professional with decades of experience, and will play a key role in helping us expand our presence in the Chicago residential construction space.
