You enjoy developing others and genuinely bringing joy to peoples’ lives - and it just so happens you’ll be doing just that in an award-winning hotel.The Assistant Front Office Manager will support the Director, Front Office by leading our Front Desk team through building trust and relationships by nurturing a work culture that celebrates diversity, inclusiveness, belonging, growth and development and by inspiring colleagues to deliver heartfelt experiences for each and every guest.To support the Director of Front Office in all aspects of the department and inspiring the Front Office team to follow all service standardsTo consistently offer professional, friendly and engaging service while creating heartfelt experiencesTo ensure proper staffing and scheduling of all Front Office colleagues in accordance to productivity guidelinesTo communicate through pre-shift logs, emails and departmental meetings all pertinent information for the respective shift and areas of operationTo develop supervisors and colleagues through a meaningful training programTo assist guests regarding hotel facilities in an informative and helpful wayTo follow department policies, procedures and service standardsTo follow all safety policies Any other tasks that may be assignedPhysical aspects of the position include but are not limited to the following: Frequent standing, walking and sitting throughout shiftOccasional kneeling, pushing, pulling, liftingOccasional ascending or descending ladders, stairs and ramps
