Pomeroy is looking for a skilled Cisco Network Deployment Technician for a 6 month contract with possible extension. Hybrid role in Chicago, IL - we are only able to consider candidates local to Chicagoland.

Job Description:
  • Configure and Installation Various Network devices and services (e.g. routers, Switches, F5 etc.)
  • Perform Network Maintenance include IOS upgrade and code upgrade on cisco Switches, Routers & F5.
  • Ability to travel to IL & WI sites if require to install the devices or provide any onsite support.
  • Should be CCNA certified
  • Good knowledge of routing and switching, configuration & implementation (CAT-OS, NX-OS)
  • Should have knowledge of Nexus and catalyst switches.
  • Basic understanding of routing protocol BGP, OSPF & EIGRP.
  • Should be able to work on Ticketing tool like Service Now
  • Should be able to work on Monitoring tool like NOI, SevOne.
  • Good Understanding of LAN technology STP, Port-Channel etc
  • Basic understanding of Modems, Copper and fiber cables.
