Contracts Manager

Contracts Manager Aon requires an expert resource to join its contracts management team, to perform contract review and negotiation services (of both client and vendor contracts), for its Human Capital Solutions (Health, Wealth and Talent). Review, draft, negotiate and revise a wide variety of complex contracts, including non-disclosure agreements, engagement letters, master/professional services agreements, and statements of work in accordance with the company’s standards and policies.

Streamline contracting across global Aon engagements, including those of Aon’s Enterprise Client Group and Global Benefits team.

Be responsible for the entirety of contract review process from the initial request for a contract review through to the final signed contract, and everything in between.

Proo contracts with an eye for detail and accuracy.

Act as partner concern point for other members of client contracting team.

Understanding of legal terminology and risk concepts (indemnities, limits on liability, etc.); ability to articulate risks and explain terminology in plain language.

Work with Law & Compliance department and business to assist/lead on a variety of projects related to process improvements, risk mitigation and legal policy development.

Working with Client Teams to collect and assemble all vital documentation required for contract reviews.

Managing processes and programs to develop efficiencies within the processing of contracts and contractual review.

Perform other tasks and projects as assigned by the head of the contracting team and general counsel.

Skills and Experience that will lead to success

Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent experience/training)

5 Years minimum experience in a complex corporate environment or professional services firm

Familiarity with contract review, drafting and negotiation.

Versatility to seamlessly support different businesses.

Ability to work collaboratively, with a focus on teamwork over individualism.

High level of self-direction and good judgment and attention to detail.

Ability to independently run multiple time-sensitive projects simultaneously.

Client-facing experience required; ability to implement with minimal supervision.

Self-starting and entrepreneurial with the ability to multi-task and prioritize.

Strong ability in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word

Demonstrated leadership and professionalism.

The actual salary will vary based on applicant’s education, experience, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data. The salary may also be adjusted based on applicant’s geographic location.This position is eligible to participate in one of Aon’s annual incentive plans to receive an annual discretionary bonus in addition to base salary.
