Description We're seeking a Cyber Security Analyst with 2-5 years of experience to join our clients team. The ideal candidate will have proven experience in a Microsoft 365 environment and will be responsible for maintaining the safety and integrity of our digital assets. Responsibilities: Monitor system logs, SIEM tools, and network traffic for unusual or suspicious activity and interpret such activity and make recommendations for resolution. Interpret, analyze, and respond to security incidents, including conducting of investigations into network traffic. Implement and maintain security solutions in alignment with security protocols, including firewalls, anti-virus software, and SIEM tools. Collaborate closely with IT and business teams to ensure the organization’s infrastructure and applications with Microsoft 365 are secure. Participate in the development and implementation of security policies, standards, guidelines, and procedures to ensure ongoing maintenance of security. Conduct vulnerability assessments and coordinate remediation efforts. Maintain knowledge of the latest cyber security trends and developments.Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, IT, or related field. 2-5 years of detail oriented experience with Cybersecurity implementation in a Microsoft 365 environment. Strong understanding of internet, intranet, extranet and client/server architectures. Knowledge of network infrastructure, including routers, switches, firewalls, and associated network protocols and concepts. Experience with incident identification, assessment, quantification, reporting, communication, mitigation, and monitoring. Familiarity with ISO 27001 and NIST cyber security frameworks is a plus. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
